Screenshot size checker

Drop your screenshots to see which App Store and Google Play slot each one fits. Wrong dimensions and alpha channels are caught before App Store Connect rejects them.

Wrong sizes? Design once in the editor and export every App Store and Google Play size at exactly the right pixels.

What it checks

  • Exact App Store sizes for every iPhone, iPad, iPhone Duo, Mac, Apple TV, Vision Pro and Apple Watch slot, in portrait and landscape.
  • Google Play rules: 320–3840 px per side, a 2:1 maximum ratio, the 1080 px featuring threshold, 8 MB per file, the 1024 × 500 feature graphic and the 512 × 512 icon.
  • Alpha channels: PNGs saved with transparency, the most common cause of a rejected upload.

Frequently asked questions

What does "The dimensions of one or more screenshots are wrong" mean?
App Store Connect only accepts exact pixel sizes for each display slot. The image is either a size Apple doesn't accept, or you dropped it into the wrong slot (for example a 6.9″ image into the 6.3″ slot). Drop it in the checker to see which slot it fits.
Why is my PNG rejected even though the size is right?
It probably has an alpha channel. App Store and Google Play screenshots can't contain transparency, and Apple rejects PNGs saved with an alpha channel even if every pixel is opaque. Export as JPEG or as a PNG without alpha.
Are my screenshots uploaded?
No. The checker reads the files in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
