Phone screenshots
- JPEG or 24-bit PNG, no alpha channel, up to 8 MB each.
- Each side between 320 px and 3840 px.
- The long side can't be more than twice the short side.
- At least 2 screenshots across device types to publish; up to 8 per device type.
To be featured and recommended
Apps need at least 4 screenshots of 1080 px or more: 9:16 portrait (minimum 1080 × 1920) or 16:9 landscape (minimum 1920 × 1080). Games need at least 3 of them, all portrait or all landscape.
Tablets and Chromebooks
Upload at least 4 large-screen screenshots, each side between 1080 and 7680 px. Google suggests 16:9 landscape or 9:16 portrait. 1200 × 1920 (7″) and 1600 × 2560 (10″) are common choices that meet the upload rules.
